Product Overview
NiM Core is the base version of Non Internet Messenger, a specialized Android application for exchanging text messages without using an Internet connection. It relies on standard SMS as the transport layer for data transmission.
Once installed, NiM Core can be set as the default SMS application. It performs all essential messaging functions, allowing users to send and receive SMS messages, view delivery statuses, and receive push notifications for incoming messages.
A distinctive feature of NiM Core is its ability to compress messages before sending. When you know that your contact also uses NiM Core, you can enable the Compression flag for that contact. In this case, your messages will be automatically compressed using a special algorithm, split into multiple SMS parts if necessary, and then reassembled and decompressed on the recipient’s device.
It is important to note that this is not encryption. Compressed messages look similar to this:

However, they can be restored to readable form by any instance of NiM Core or by other applications that implement the same compression algorithm.
Before using the application, please check the SMS pricing policy of your mobile operator. Standard charges may apply for each message sent. Sending messages while roaming or to other regions may incur additional costs.
The first versions of NiM Core are currently undergoing real-world testing.
